Movistar takes out second sustainability-linked loan

Loans Debt Telecoms Sustainability-Linked ESG Colombia

Movistar Colombia, a subsidiary of Spanish telecommunications company Telefónica, has taken out a sustainability-linked loan from Bancolombia for COP500 billion ($130 million), according a securities filing.  Movistar used the money pay back $53.5 million from a $320 million syndicated loan it got in May last year and also renew a COP300 billion credit line from Bancolombia, it said in the filing. Last month, the Bogotá-based telco said it got COP200 billion in a three-year loan from Scotiabank
