Spanish construction company OHL made the highest offer for a 15-year concession to build and operate four hospitals in the Chilean region of Biobío, besting four other bidders for the UF7.75 million ($325 million) project, the public works ministry, or MOP, said late Thursday.
OHL bear Mexico’s GIA and the three other Spanish construction companies – Acciona, Sacyr and Grupo San José – in the auction, MOP said.
The concession involves hospitals in the municipalities of Santa Bárbara, Nacimiento
