The Brazilian government is trying to overcome the country's bad environmental reputation so infrastructure and agricultural projects can secure easier access to green financing, Infrastructure Minister Tarcísio de Gomes Freitas told LatinFinance this week.
"We are aware that financial flows are linked to environmental standards," he said. "As soon as we have the green label, we can mitigate this image problem."
