Mexican development bank Banobras has granted MXN2.7 billion ($136 million) in financing for local construction company ICA to build the fourth section of the Tren Maya railroad in the Yucatán Peninsula. According to the terms of the public works contract, ICA will build 244km of railway between the cities of Izamal and Cancún with stations in Chichén Itzá and Valladolid in the state of Yucatán and El Tintal in Quintana Roo.
