Banco Popular, one of the banks owned by the Colombian holding company Grupo Aval, said it plans to issue up to COP500 billion ($134 million) in bonds in the local market on July 7. The bank intends to sell at least COP350 billion in new notes, it said in a securities filing on Wednesday. It will publish the specifics of the deal on July 6, it added.
