Brazilian renewable energy company Renova Energia confirmed it received an offer to sell its stake in the hydroelectric power plant business Brasil PCH from Abu Dhabi-based sovereign wealth fund Mubadala. Local business newspaper Valor Econômico reported on Tuesday that Mubadala put forward an offer and was willing to pay BRL2.4 billion ($480 million) for Brasil PCH, which operates 13 small hydropower plants.
