Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said Wednesday that he picked long-time economic adviser Rogelio Ramírez de la O to be the next finance minister.
Ramírez de la O replaces Arturo Herrera, who has been nominated to take over for Alejandro Díaz de León as head of the central bank, known as Banxico, in December.
