Chile returned to the international bond market with a two-part deal worth $2 billion on Tuesday, raising money for social programs and budgetary spending, according to the finance ministry.
The sovereign issuer placed $1.7 billion in new 20-year social bonds and added $300 to its 2.45% 2031 notes, the ministry said, bringing its fundraising totals for the year to $9.96 billion, including $7.8 billion in the international market.
