Brazilian footwear and clothing company Alpargatas said Monday that it agreed to pay BRL200 million ($36.7 million) for software developer Ioasys to increase online sales of its Havaianas brand of flip flops.
Alpargatas said in a filing that it acquired 100% of the software developer from Gilson Almeida Villela Junior and Walter Galvão Neto and added that it will pay for the acquisition in cash and stock over five years.
