The Colombian subsidiary of Peruvian microlender Mibanco said Friday that it intends to issue COP150 billion ($40.4 million) worth of social and gender bonds in its first issue in the local market, according to a securities filing.
Mibanco plans to print a four-part deal in pesos and inflation-linked UVRs with maturities of three and five years, raising funds for new microcredits for women as part of a focus on promoting gender equality, Fitch Ratings said in a report.
