Aegea, Iguá win three blocs at Cedae auction

Brazilian water and sewage company Aegea won two concession blocs and Iguá took one in an auction on Friday for concessions from Rio de Janeiro state water company Cedae that raised BRL22.6 billion ($4.16 billion) for the state government. Aegea, represented by Ativa, won Bloco 1 with a bid of BRL8.2 billion that was 103% above the minimum offer and Bloco 4 with a bid of BRL7.2 billion that was 188% over the minimum amount. Iguá, represented by BTG Pactual, won Bloco 2 with a bid of BRL7.29 bill
