Chile unveils new road concession

The concessions department of Chile's public works ministry, or MOP, has given bidders until August 30 to present offers for a UF843,000 ($34.5 million) concession for an access road to the international airport in Santiago. MOP will review the financial proposals on September 30 and plans to name the winner in the first quarter of 2022. Construction is slated to start in 2023, the ministry said in a press release on Wednesday. Earlier this week, MOP received five offers for a 15-year concession
