Taesa raises debt for power lines

Brazilian electricity transmission company Taesa issued BRL750 million ($142 million) in debentures in the local market, raising money to pay down debt from two power lines, according to information from the capital markets association Anbima. Taesa priced BRL650 million in new 2028 notes at the DI interbank lending rate plus 1.7% and BRL100 million in 2036 notes at the IPCA consumer price index plus 4.7605%.
