Brazilian infrastructure company CCR won the auctions on Wednesday for two blocs of regional airport concessions and French construction company Vinci took the third with combined bids worth BRL3.3 billion ($585 million), or 3,822% above the minimum asking price.
Companhia de Participações em Concessões (CPC), a subsidiary of CCR, bid BRL2.13 billion for a bloc with nine airports in the south, including the city of Curitiba, and BRL754 million for six in the central region.
