CAF appoints new head in Bolivia

South American development bank CAF has named Florentino Fernández as its new representative in Bolivia, just over a week after it appointed Renny Alberto López as interim CEO. Fernández joins CAF from Costa Rica's state-owned water utility AyA, CAF said in a press release on Tuesday. He previously worked for 24 years at the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), where he was the country head for Panama and Guatemala and also supervised lending programs for municipal governments
