Brazilian water utility company Aegea Saneamento said it issued BRL400 million ($71.8 million) worth of six-year debentures on Tuesday, raising money to finance investments and add to its cash holdings.
According to figures from the local capital markets association Anbima, Aegea priced the new 2027 notes at the DI interbank lending rate plus 2.15% in a deal led by BTG Pactual under Brazil's Rule 476.
In a deal in the local bond market in September last year, Aegea issued BRL300 million in 2023
