CCR takes two more metro lines at auction

Brazilian infrastructure company CCR won the concession to operate two more metro lines in São Paulo from state-owned Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos (CPTM) on Tuesday with an offer that was more than three times the minimum bid. Consórcio ViaMobilidade Linhas 8 e 9 offered BRL980 million, or 203% above the minimum of BRL324 million, for the 30-year concession to operate Line 8-Diamond and Line 9-Emerald. CCR already heads consortiums that operates three other metro lines in São Paulo
