Brazilian for-profit education company Ânima Educação said it plans to sell BRL2.5 billion ($438 million) worth of debentures in the local market to finance the acquisition of assets from US private education group Laureate.
Ânima expects to price BRL500 million in two-year debentures at the DI interbank lending rate plus 3.75% and BRL2 billion in six-year debentures at the DI plus 4.75%, it said in a securities filing on Monday.
