Brazil's Oi said Monday that it accepted an offer worth BRL12.9 billion ($2.25 billion) from local investment bank BTG Pactual for a partial stake in InfraCo, a special purpose entity (SPE) that holds the telecommunications company's fiber optic assets.
The binding proposal puts InfraCo's enterprise value (EV) at BRL20 billion and lists its net debt at BRL4.11 billion at the end of this year, Oi said in a securities filing.
