CMI Energía, the energy division of Guatemalan agro-industrial conglomerate Corporación Multi Inversiones (CMI), started calling investors on Monday to pitch a benchmark-sized transaction for its first green bonds with Citi and JPMorgan as bookrunners, a source involved in the deal said.
CMI Energía came out with a green bond framework this month after getting a favorable second-party opinion from Sustainalytics on April 1, according to documents on the company's website.
