Brazilian investment firm Vinci Partners said it raised BRL1 billion ($176 million) for a new "impact family of funds" managed by its private equity division.
Vinci Impacto e Retorno IV, or VIR IV, as the fund is called, raised money from local and international institutional investors, high net-worth individuals and retail investors with a lock-up period of at least 10 years, the Rio de Janeiro-based firm said in a press release on Tuesday.
