Chilean pulp and paper company CMPC issued $500 million worth of 10-year sustainability-linked bonds (SLBs) on Wednesday, pricing the notes with a new issue concession that was 15 basis points under the curve, said a source involved in the deal.
CMPC issued the new 3% notes at 99.273 to yield 3.085%, or 135 basis points over US Treasury bonds, the source said. The company had opened the initial price take around 165 basis points over US Treasury notes before it set guidance at 140 basis points,
