The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) said Friday that it sold AUD130 million ($99.9 million) worth of sustainable development bonds (SDBs) in a private placement with Japan's Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company.
With Citi as the arranger, the IDB priced the 10-year bonds with a coupon of 1.505% and settled the deal on March 5, the Washington DC-based development bank said in a press release. The coupon payments will be semi-annual on March 5 and September 5, it added.
