Brazilian renewable energy company Elétrica Rio Energy filed to make an initial public offering (IPO) late Wednesday and said it will use the proceeds to finance organic growth and acquisitions.
Rio Energy hired Itaú BBA, Bank of America, UBS BB and Bradesco BBI to coordinate the primary and secondary offerings on the Novo Mercado segment of the B3 stock exchange in São Paulo, according to a preliminary prospectus.
