Latin American development bank CAF said it approved a line of credit for up to $1 billion to buy COVID-19 vaccines and cover other healthcare costs in Latin America.
During a shareholders meeting on March 2, CAF also authorized a $500 million credit line to respond to natural disasters in the region, it said in a press release.
The bank also endorsed $940 million in loans in member nations, including $350 million for digital inclusion in Panama, $300 million for the power sector in Uruguay, $25
