The International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Argentina are moving forward on negotiations for a new lending program,as at least one faction of the government pushes for a longer term to repay and a reduction in the interest rate.
"Technical discussions are ongoing as we speak," IMF spokesperson Gerry Rice said during a press conference on Thursday.
