Mexican telecommunications company América Móvil said it sold €2.1 billion ($2.56 billion) worth of three-year bonds on Tuesday that can be exchanged for shares in the Dutch telco KPN.
América Móvil's Dutch subsidiary priced the zero-coupon bonds at 104.75, below the guidance it set between 105.75 and 107.75, according to a securities filing.
The company put the initial exchange price to convert the notes into common shares in KPN at €3.1185, a premium of 15% on the closing share price of €2.71
