Brazil's Petrobras said Friday that it had opened the bidding process for the Carmópolis cluster in the state of Sergipe as part of its ongoing asset sales program.
The state-owned oil company will send instructions to qualified bidders for the 11 onshore oil fields and their production facilities in the cluster, it said in a securities filing. Carmópolis includes the Atalaia cluster, which contains the Aracaju Waterway Terminal and Bonsucesso-Atalaia oil pipeline, it added.
