Japan's SoftBank and US private equity fund Invus Opportunities led six other investors in a $84.5 million fundraising round for Brazilian education technology company Descomplica.  Valor Capital Group, Península Participações, Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) and Amadeus Capital Partners participated in the round along with Intercorp Peru and The Edge, the guitar player of the Irish rock band U2, Descomplica said in a press release on Thursday.
