Mexican petrochemicals company Alpek sold $600 million worth of 10-year dollar-denominated bonds on Thursday after orders reached $5.5 billion, said a source involved in the deal said.
"There was a lot of demand because there is nowhere to find yield, and Alpek's risk is pretty decent," said an investor in New York who requested anonymity given work in the transaction.
