Chilean plastic goods maker Wenco said it raised UF2.5 million ($99.2 million) from the sale of 10-year bonds in its debut debt issue in the local market, raising money to refinance debt.
The Santiago-based maker of plastic bins, pallets, trays and other products sold the notes at a fixed rate of 2.6%, according to a securities filing late on Thursday. The notes are denominated in unidades de fomento, or UFs, a unit of account adjusted for inflation.
