Rosatom subsidiary enters lithium project in Argentina

Uranium One Group, a subsidiary of Russia's state-owned nuclear energy company Rosatom, said that it has entered into an agreement with Canada's Alpha Lithium to buy a 15% stake in a lithium project for $30 million. The companies will develop the Tolillar lithium deposit in the northern province of Salta through a new company called Alpha One Lithium, which for now will be owned 85% by Alpha Lithium, both companies said in separate press releases late on Monday.
