Argentina is seeking to tie up a deal on a new loan program with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) before March next year, said Jorge Argüello, the country's ambassador to the US.
The objective is to reach an agreement "as soon as possible," he said late Wednesday on Futurock FM, a radio broadcaster in Buenos Aires.
"I believe that in the coming months we will have the possibility of closing an agreement under the terms that we are seeking," he added.
