Argentina will use an additional ARS40 billion ($397 million) from next year's budget to complete the financing for the first stage of a pipeline project that is key for developing the country’s large natural gas resources for local consumption and export, a project that it plans to award at auction.
The goal is to complete the $2.5 billion pipeline in two stages by mid-2023, Energy Secretary Darío Martínez said Saturday on local broadcaster Radio Con Vos.
