IDB Invest, the private sector affiliate of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), said Tuesday that it issued AUD68 million ($49.6 million) in so-called decarbonization bonds to fund a clean energy plan.
Japanese life insurance company Sumitomo Life acquired the 10-year notes in a private placement that priced with a coupon of 1.749%, IDB Invest said in a press release. Daiwa was the lead arranger on the deal, it added.
