British mining investor Appian Capital Advisory said Tuesday that it sold two businesses in Brazil – Atlantic Nickel and Mineração Vale Verde (MVV) – to South Africa's Sibanye-Stillwater for $1 billion in cash plus royalties from the Santa Rita nickel mine.
