Fonplata drafts SLBs for Mexican bond market

Fonplata, the regional development bank for the Rio de la Plata basin in South America, could sell sustainability-linked bonds (SLBs) in Mexico early next year as it extends its fundraising plans to new markets, CFO Rafael Robles told LatinFinance.  Fonplata received an upgrade from S&P Global Ratings and now it is looking to tap global debt markets that accept smaller issues worth $100 million to $200 million.
