Argentina aims to restructure its debt with the Paris Club, a group of wealthy creditor nations, by May, but it could use another 60 days to reach a deal, a latest step to restoring public debts to sustainable repayment levels, Argentine Deputy Secretary of Finance Ramiro Tosi said at an event hosted by LatinFinance on Thursday. “We have to set the grounds with the Paris Club in order to have an agreement with them,” he said in an interview during the Latin America Capital Markets Summit.
