Brazilian investment firm Pátria Investimentos moved $453 million in an initial public offering (IPO) on the Nasdaq exchange after pricing its shares at $17 each, $1 above the target price range of $14 to $16, according to a securities filing late on Thursday.
São Paulo-based Pátria sold 16.7 million shares in a primary offering, while US investment firm Blackstone offloaded 10 million shares in a secondary offering. JPMorgan, Bank of America and Credit Suisse were the bookrunners.
