Mexican consumer financial services company Crédito Real said Friday that it agreed to buy back $177 million worth of its 7.25% 2023 notes that were tendered by the early deadline on January 21.
Investors offered a total of $219 million in 2023 notes, or 51.3% of outstanding principal amount outstanding. Crédito Real, however, offered to repurchase $177 million and left $37.9 million in tendered notes until the final deadline on February 4, it said in a statement.
