Bogotá's city-owned energy company Grupo Energía Bogotá (GEB) said it is interested in buying a stake in Interconexión Electrica (ISA), following press reports that the government is interested in selling shares in the state-owned holding company.
"Keeping the public ownership of a strategic company like ISA, while providing significant resources to the nation, would be a highly favorable outcome for the country," GEB said in a securities filing.
