IDB Invest, part of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), said Tuesday that it granted a $60 million loan to Colombian export-import bank Bancóldex to support micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) during the COVID-19 pandemic. The one-year loan will fund emergency credit lines to help MSMEs stay in business through the economic slump by boosting liquidity and offering longer terms for repayment.
