US infrastructure investment firm Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) said Tuesday that it arranged a $325 million loan for Mexican power generation company Saavi Energía, which is owned by British emerging markets investor Actis.
GIP supplied the loan through the GIP Spectrum Fund, which offers financing to midstream energy, power, renewable energy and transport projects, the firm said in a press release.
GIP added that it has committed roughly $550 million in financing to projects in Latin Am
