Mendoza, a western province of Argentina, said it has extended an invitation to restructure $590 million in 8.375% 2024 bonds by an additional two weeks, as it sees that support from a group of creditors could bring about a successful deal.
The province, best known for Malbec wine and towering mountains, gave creditors until September 25 to accept the invitation, rather than the previous deadline of September 11, it said a securities filing on Tuesday.
