BBVA Bancomer prepares to issue dollar bonds

BBVA Bancomer, the Mexican branch of the Spanish bank BBVA, has hired investment banks to lead the sale of US dollar-denominated bonds of intermediate maturity, a source involved in the deal said. BBVA, BNP Paribas, Bank of America and Morgan Stanley are holding investor calls on Monday. Fitch Ratings affirmed the bank' BBB foreign issuer default rating with a stable outlook in early July.
