IEnova, the Mexican subsidiary of US-based Sempra Energy, sold $800 million worth of 30-year notes on Thursday, according to a securities filing.
The company priced the 2051 notes with a coupon of 4.75%, according to a press release. The yield was 350 basis points over US Treasury notes, according to a source involved in the deal.
Proceeds will be used for debt refinancing as well as general corporate purposes, the source said.
