Brazilian lender Banco Inter said its board has approved plans to carry out a follow-on equity offering on the B3 stock exchange in São Paulo, according to a securities filing on Tuesday.
The Belo Horizonte-based bank said it will sell 14.5 million common shares and 29 million preferred shares in the offering, but it added that it could increase the size of the deal by 35%, or 5.08 common shares and 10.2 million preferred shares.
