Brazilian for-profit education company Ser Educacional said Thursday that it agreed to pay BRL150 million ($27.6 million) to buy the private medical and nursing school Facimed in the state of Rondônia.
According to a securities filing, Ser subsidiary Cenesup will pay BRL100 million when it closes the deal with Facimed's holding company, Sorec, and make four annual installments of $12.5 million each.
