Brazilian wind power developer Renova said late Thursday that it received a binding offer from local investment firm Prisma Capital to acquire the second phase of the planned 743 MW Alto Sertão III wind power project.
Any possible acquisition has to go through a bidding process with the assets sold as "isolated productive units" under the terms of ongoing bankruptcy proceedings, Renova said in a securities filing.
