Telecommunications company ColTel, the Colombian subsidiary of Telefonica, hired BBVA, BNP Paribas, Bank of America, JP Morgan and Santander to make investor calls for a potential sale of up to $750 million worth of notes to finance the replacement of old debt, according to a Colombia securities filing issued on Monday.
